Context
Singapore and France are powerhouses for quantum science and technologies. With the CQT, Singapore has funded one of the first Centres for Quantum Technologies worldwide, and keeps supporting the deployment of quantum technologies in the country through ambitious programs. France has a tradition of excellence in quantum science. In January 2021, France has launched its national strategy for the acceleration of quantum technologies, fostering a network of French quantum centres. Built around top-level universities, these ecosystems promote crossed-disciplinary, high-level training and innovation programs in quantum science and technologies.
Vision
MajuLab has the ambition to become the French-Singaporean centre for quantum science and technologies, similar to the quantum centres that have recently been created in France as a result of the acceleration Strategy. This vision entails the MajuLab research axes structuration as a quantum centre (See Research), and the development of MajuLab as a quantum channel to further increase collaborations between France and Singapore on quantum science and quantum technologies.
